"CSX - The Spartanburg Subdivision "

Running 64 miles south from Spartanburg, SC to Greenwood, SC is CSX's
Spartanburg Subdivision.

Historically, this line is formerly the Charleston and Western Carolina Railway, a
subsidary of the Atlantic Coast Line. In 1959 the C&WC was included into
the ACL system.

Today the Spartanburg Sub is home to 12,000 ton coal trains that require pushers
and now DPU locomotives to negotiate the hilly South Carolina Terrain.

R-Line Video has visited the area numerous times to capture the action along
the entire line. The program is arranged in geographical order and includes
subtitles with pertinent train information (no narration).

Also included is a map so that you can follow along with the program.
